The Cab’s new album ‘Chasing Crowns’ is almost here, and they have shared one more taste just to tide you over.

The track is called ‘Sweet Kerosene’ and sees the band dealing out the melodies on the softer side of their sound. Reminiscent of The 1975’s ‘Robbers’, it blends smooth synths, delicate lyrical turns and building atmospheres to create a song that soothes as much as it lingers long after it ends.

A sign that the band are capable of everything, and there are plenty of surprises ready to be uncovered in this new era.

The band had this to say about it, stating, “This one has always felt like a movie. There are just some songs where the script just writes itself and the imagery just paints itself. We have been dying for the world to hear this one and we hope you love it as much as we do. Sometimes it’s better to let someone burn you to the ground then to never have felt the heat of their flames at all. Sweet Kerosene is one of those songs that truly set our creativity and hearts on fire.”

The band’s new album, ‘Chasing Crowns,’ is set for release on April 24.

Alex DeLeon had this to say about the band being right back at it again:

After all this time, it feels like we are finally home again. We have been waiting over ten years to be able to headline, release an album and sing these songs again with the fans, so this is completely surreal. Counting down the seconds to be on those stages and for people to see and hear what we have had up our sleeves!
