Return To Dust have continued their ascent to the top by putting a uniquely crushing spin on a classic track.

The band have taken the skeleton of OutKast’s stone-cold belter ‘Hey Ya!’, forced it through a sepia-toned lens, and produced a grungey new take on it. Changing the pacing from frenzied to free-flowing and allowing layer upon layer of atmosphere to build, the result is absolutely crushing. Throw in a few guttural barks at the conclusion, and it serves as a showcase of not just what the band are capable of but of how deep their love and appreciation for music of all varieties runs.

And the band couldn’t say it better, stating, “Our love for the ’90s and ’00s music goes further than just rock music, so we made our own heavy version of ‘Hey Ya!’ by OutKast,” 

The song comes hot on the heels of the band hitting the top of US Active Rock Radio with their wonderful track ‘Bored’. That sounds a lot like this:

The band are set to spend the Summer in Europe, with a selection of festival dates, a handful of headline shows and lots of support slots for Breaking Benjamin and Chevelle.
