Brian Fallon has returned with his first solo music in over five years, and we’ve got two brand-new singles to tuck into.

The Gaslight Anthem frontman has teamed up with longtime collaborator Butch Walker for two new tracks titled ‘Not Bad For New Jersey’ and ‘Better Before’.
Released via his own Lesser Known Records, both tracks see Brian leaning into that frenetic collision of power pop and heartland rock that he does so well.
First up is ‘Not Bad For New Jersey’, a track that serves as a homage to the musician’s home state and all the grit it instilled in him.
Speaking about it, Brian has shared:
“‘Not Bad for New Jersey’ is my way of celebrating what I do and where I’m from. I wrote that song looking back on my life the way you do after almost ending up in a crash – like, ‘How did I make it through that?’ I really could’ve busted myself open somewhere along the way, but somehow I’m still here, and I’m still in one piece.”
Then, there’s ‘Better Before’, which was co-written with Brian’s close friend singer-songwriter Donovan Wood.
With a killer guitar solo and a driving chorus, it tells the tale of an unraveling romance in the gritty, tortured manner he does so well.
Brian will play a series of intimate live performances this summer, shortly after he joins Bruce Springsteen and more for a special one-off concert event on June 4, celebrating 250 years of American music.
