Cowboy Hunters are the sort of band that only come along once, and their new EP showcases why their existence should make you very excited.

Titled ‘EPeepee‘, it is five songs of rough, rowdy and ridiculously bold rock and roll, straight out of the heart of Glasgow. As witty as it is wild, it is a vivid portrait of modern life delivered with a tongue firmly planted in cheek and no stone left unturned. From the wondrous takedown of racist ideals at the core of ‘Shag Slags Not Flags’ to the whizz and bang at the heart of ‘Dust Cap’, all the way through to pit-swelling intent of ‘Cuntry Gurl’, there is a bit of chaos for everybody in here.

Embodying everything that alternative music born in this side of the world should, it’s a step up to the plate as much as it is an excuse to swing from a few chandeliers.

Have a listen below.
